Is there any information out there on how to open a bank account in Switzerland? I’ve tried searching for it myself, and I’ve found out a few very interesting things about it all. First off, before the days of the internet, it seemed to be an insurmountable task to open up an offshore bank account in Switzerland. You had to have quite a chunk of change in order to be even considered for such a thing, you had to have a lot of middle men… a lawyer or lawyers, high office bank management people and so on, and you had to have a lot of patience and time at your disposal – usually months of time.
